* NB if you don't have a winnt machine (ie you have xp or vista) you can use [[media:Terra Term Pro]] (a 1999 program) to connect, otherwise the space bar won't work. |

Entering single user mode:
1) To enter console mode, speed @ 11K5 8-N-1
2) Use a WINNT machine :)*
3) press space on startup, when it's asking for ROM setup
4) type
boot
set_params single
bfd
5) The machine will resume boot and go to single user mode
- NB if you don't have a winnt machine (ie you have xp or vista) you can use media:Terra Term Pro (a 1999 program) to connect, otherwise the space bar won't work.
