I tried CF Auto root and I got the red seandroid warning. If it refuses to boot after this or gets stuck on this message you can get the phone to reboot by pressing the download mode buttons. Root checker didn't show that it was rooted either. Knox was tripped. Oneclickroot seems to be a scam. In the end I got there by flashing twrp and supersu.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus model is an old device. Even If you receive regular patch updates, Samsung keeps adding bloatware in those updates. If you use Lite weight Custom Roms, you can expect a considerable performance Improvement. So, If you have little knowledge in tech, I advise you to Root and uninstall some unwanted apps. You can also flash some Custom ROMs. If you flash Custom ROM, check what is working and what is not working. It is wise to use Some Official Custom ROMs like Lineage.
